This formula is often referred to as the “Iowa State” formula for use in the rehydration of calves at a very economical cost per liter of solution. In comparison to the popular, but unavailable, Sanofi product “Multisol – R3x” that was packaged in 100ml vials for dilution to 3 liters (3000 ml).
